I was born in Queens, New York, in 1984. I currently live with my husband and dog in the Finger Lakes region of upstate New York. I graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in secondary education in 2006 and then went on to get my master’s from Wilkes University. I spent about ten years teaching high school science in Pennsylvania before moving to New York again. I now work for a local hospital. I have always been a writer as well as a reader. Publishing a novel is a dream come true and has been 20 years in the making. 

In my spare time, I like to read fantasy novels, craft, go camping, ride my motorcycle, kayaking, and play computer games. Like many writers, I found that characters speak to me and the scenes play out in my head. I can’t always alter what I see or what my characters say as I write it down. I can see pieces of myself in each of the characters, which is not always a satisfying or flattering reflection, but an honest one.
